Hello All:

I don't know if this is the proper place to post this question, but I thought I
would ask.

HERE'S MY PROBLEM: I am a U.S. resident who bought a (legal) Bell ExpressVU
Canadian dish service. I have installed the Bell ExpressVU system and aimed my
new satellite dish perfectly. I am getting close to a 100 percent signal
strength (between 98 & 100 percent on Bell Express satellite #91). I have even
gone so far as to cut down some small tree limbs that were about 30 feet in
front of the dish. There are now NO trees or buildings in front of the dish.

I am gettting PERFECT sound and I am receiving all my channels...BUT...the
picture is horribly grainy. You know how a satellite system's picture starts to
look during heavy rain? Well, my picture looks like that all the time. It
doesn't get any worse OR better...it's just the same awful grainy picture all
the time.

I have talked this over with technical support and have tried moving the dish
and re-booting the system...nothing works.

One more thing: I have the Bell ExpressVU 3120 system, if that makes any
difference.

Has anyone else experienced this problem, and were you able to fix it? PLEASE
HELP! THANKS!

Try using different methods of sending the signal from the receiver to the
tv like try the rg6 from receiver to tv instead of s-video etc.... I found
the svideo cable did that on my 2700 for some reason so i ended using a
regualr catv cable instead, it was way better, maybe my svideo cable was of
poor quality. problem prolly lies between the tv and receiver though

I should point out that I used the wrong word to describe my picture quality.

It is not "grainy" -- it is pixellated. Lots of little squares.

And this problem occurs on ALL channels, not just one.

My question to you is, why would you want to subscribe to Expressvu anyway
unless you have a need to watch the CBC in 15 time zones???!!!

I live in Canada, and I prefer American programming. Really, why Expressvu?
